Coglings is an online life-simulation game featuring AI-driven citizens you can guide. Citizen dialogue and behaviour are generated by AI and are fictional — they don’t represent real people, real advice, or real facts. The Game is provided for entertainment only.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to play, make payments, or hold assets in the Game. You’re responsible for complying with the laws of your own jurisdiction, and you may not use the Service where it would be unlawful.
Signing in uses a WAX blockchain wallet. You are solely responsible for your wallet, its keys, and its security. We never take custody of your private keys and cannot recover, reverse, or refund on-chain transactions. Keep your keys safe.
Some actions (such as adopting a citizen or topping up COGS) require a payment in WAX, a real cryptocurrency, sent on the WAX blockchain. Blockchain payments are irreversible. What you receive in return is in-game access, in-game items, or in-game currency — not an investment or a promise of future value. Prices and fees may change.
Where the Game offers blockchain items (NFTs), ownership is recorded on the WAX blockchain and governed by that network, which we don’t control. Any trading on third-party marketplaces is between you and those parties and subject to their terms. We make no guarantee that any in-game item or NFT will hold, gain, or retain value.
Nothing in Coglings is an offer of securities or an investment opportunity. We do not promise profit, returns, price appreciation, or that the Game, its economy, or any item will have or keep any particular value. Play because it’s fun, not to make money.
Don’t cheat, exploit bugs, automate abuse, attack the Service, harass others, or attempt to manipulate the Game’s economy. We may suspend or remove access for conduct that harms the Game or its players.
The Game is under active development and may be offered in beta. It may change, pause, break, reset, or be discontinued at any time, and features and balancing may change without notice. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coglings and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost value, lost items, lost COGS, wallet losses, or blockchain transaction outcomes. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continuing to play after changes means you accept them.
